Stop Alzheimer’s disease with targeted food

It is possible to stop Alzheimer’s disease even in middle late stages by using a much targeted combination of food which heals the brain. Each year science discovers more and more about how nutrients affect the brain, illnesses like dementia can be greatly improved, unfortunately this is what most people are still unaware of. It is possible to stop Alzheimer’s disease with the precise combination of foods targeted for the brain.

The brain has an incredible ability to heal when it is put in a very precise nutritional environment, the quality of calories that we consume have a very strong affect on the working of the brain. Researchers have recently discovered that calorie restriction has a direct affect on the brain, the results of the University study shows that consuming fewer calories has a positive affect on the brain, possibly delaying illnesses such as dementia. There is much which can be done to stop Alzheimer’s disease; calorie restriction does have a positive affect on the brain.

Fewer calories equal a better brain?

A recent study from neuroscientists at NYU Langone Medical Center revealed that reducing the amount of calories in the diets of female mice stopped the normal rise and fall of in activity levels of around 900 different genes that are associated with brain function, including aging and memory formation. Researchers concluded that diets with fewer calories from carbohydrates can help slow certain aspects of aging and chronic disease in humans.

Combining power brain nutrients

What Mal Alzheimer has revealed to now thousands of people in over 10 countries is that it is the exact and prĂ©cis combination of specific nutrients which have the greatest affect on reversing dementia.  Targeting the brain with specifically combined nutrition can stop many of the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, this can revive the brain.  Calorie restriction may have some ability to delay some progression of Alzheimer’s disease but it cannot reverse the illness, reversal is only possible with targeted food combinations to heal the brain. The Mal Alzheimer diet is now used in over 10 countries to improve mood, memory and brain function in those who have dementia.

Can you protect against Dementia? What to do

Can you protect against dementia? Researchers have attacked this question and have come to the conclusion that much can be done which will arrest the illness; there are quite a few steps which a person can do to form a protective barrier for the brain against illness. A recent study has revealed something that we have spoken about often on this site; the brain has an incredible ability to heal. In this post we will address the question “Can you protect against dementia?”

It is a fact that every single person young and old should seek some protection against the illness, Alzheimer’s is a progressive illness which starts more than 20 years before the first symptoms appear, this is something that we have reported on and has been documented by University researchers.  When it comes to guarding against this disease researchers have recently pointed out that certain factors can truly help protect against the illness.

A study by the University of Victoria in British Columbia concluded that socioeconomic status as a child; adult literacy and physical activity during adulthood were major factors in protecting against dementia.

The study highlighted the fact that the brain can build up a reserve which can protect it against future mental dysfunction. Physical and mental exercise can be a great benefit to the brain. Can you protect against dementia? Yes you can.

Those who have Alzheimer’s disease can be greatly helped with diet, we have shown this in over 10 countries, regardless of how much the illness has progressed there is always a chance to reverse some are all of the affects of the illness.

The dementia diet is used in over 10 countries to improve memory and mood in those who already have Alzheimer’s. This diet has worked for thousands of people with dementia; it is never too late to revive the brain!

What is Dementia with Lewy bodies? What can help

What is Dementia with lewy bodies? This is an illness very similar to Alzheimer's disease, there are almost 2 million people in the United States who suffer from the disease. In this post we will try to explain exactly how this illness effects the brain. Most people are familiar with how an Alzheimer patient may lose memory but not as many are aware of what dementia with lewy bodies is and how it effects the brain.

Protein on the brain

Lewy bodies are actually a buildup of a protein called alphasynuclein, though the reason that these protein aggregations form in some brain cells. What most people are not aware of is that these proteins cannot be observed by the naked eye, it is not only until a person has passed away that an autopsy can reveal these proteins under a microscope. Alphasynuclein protein build up in the brain can have some very horrible consequences on the patient, the illness is strongly associated with the tremors and difficult muscle movements with Parkinson’s disease. Dementia with Lewy bodies can be explained non-medically as a common memory loss illness with a brain build up of a protein which effects body movement (It should be noted that this illness can cause delusions and hallucinations but we will explore this in a later post).

What to do

The brain has an incredible ability to heal when it is put in the correct healing environment, meditation studies have shown that the brain can indeed heal even in situations where medications have been of little help. Lewybody dementias are associated with reductions in important brain chemicals called neurotransmitters, including dopamine and acetylcholine, medications have failed to address this but natural therapies has helped. Unfortunately natural therapies which have been shown to address the brain chemical imbalances from dementias do not receive funding, we are forced to rely on big pharma and their quest for a billion dollar profit drug. It important to explore all healing options when seeking to reversed dementias, never give up or wait on big pharma medications. Medications should be just one tool in fighting Dementia with lewy bodies.

Quality of life can improve and memory can be restored even in advanced cases, waiting and doing nothing allows the brain plaques to accumulate and the Tau Tangles to increase, dealing with brain diseases must mean fighting back. The brain is begging for activation even in the most advance cases of Alzheimer’s disease, many meditations have proven this.

An understanding of what dementia with lewy bodies really is has shown us that much can be achieved without the use of pharmaceutical drugs; we have demonstrated this in over 10 countries.

Losing your Memory is a warning sign

Many more people are losing memory, there has been an incredible rise in dementia cases worldwide and this is problem is directly related to other health complications. When there is a problem “recalling” it often signals other health problems, for example diabetes, obesity and heart failure are all linked to Alzheimer's disease. When a person notices difficulties with recalling it is important not to ignore the condition. Signs of losing your memory can be the beginnings of Alzheimer's disease

Younger people effected

The numbers of people suffering from Alzheimer's disease is growing, younger people are being afflicted. Dr. Paul Thompson, a UCLA professor of neurology. Doctors are shoing the process starts earlier than they once believed.

"Alzheimer's has traditionally been considered a disease marked by neuronal cell loss and widespread gray matter atrophy," Thompson said "But degeneration of myelin in white matter fiber pathways is more and more being considered a key disease component and another possible pathway to the disease, and this discovery supports that."

What this means is that Alzheimer's disease may start a lot earlier than we once believed, it progresses in the brain before any symptoms appear. Many more younger people already have the beginning of the illness, if you are losing your memory, it is important to address the condition. The researchers showed that the process of developing Alzheimer's may start very early, every one should be on a brain protection diet.

The numbers of people suffering from dementia are increasing worldwide, it is projected that many more millions will be affected in the next 20 years. it is important to protect yourself for the illness before it starts. Once symptoms appear the illness is harder to reverse, Alzheimer's is an illness that progresses in stages, with the last stage described as the most difficult to reverse. Mal Alzheimer's Diet is the only Dementia reversal  diet used in 10 countries.

Depressed Alzheimer's Disease: Are you being ignored?

Can Alzheimer's disease leave you feeling depressed? the answer is yes according to mental health officials in Holland. There are over 5 million people in the United States who suffer from this horrible brain robbing illness and the numbers are increasing rapidly, according to the Center of Disease Control (CDC) the numbers of people suffering will double in a decade. What is not often discussed is that there are many seniors living depressed with Alzheimer's but are not getting the help that they need.

Suffering in silence?

Due to the nature of the illness it is quite possible for a person with the illness to not have their emotional needs met, for a dementia sufferer it can be very depressing to lose the independence that they once had and this can lead to deep depression. Often we accept depression in dementia sufferers as a normal part of this debilitating condition and this can cause people to be left untreated. We cannot simply accept sadness and depression as a normal development from the illness, if the depression is not addressed it can lead to an increased loss of mental capabilities. Living in depression is not really living.

Can anti depressants help?

It is rare for a depressed Alzheimer's patient to be prescribed anti depressants, usually they are relegated to “Live” with the depression. How often do we ask a person with Alzheimer's disease if they are depressed?

Are you being heard?

It is a sad and unfortunate fact that in the West many seniors needs are frequently not heard, when it comes to their feelings we do not really “listen” to how they say they are feeling, in many cases the adult children become the parent to their parents but are these adult children really listening? Are we really listen to the needs of the Alzheimer's sufferer? Are they depressed and do they need help? The loss of independence is the worst part of the illness, and this can be the root cause of the depression. What to do about dementia cost

It is not because of drugs(medication) but the cost of dementia is staggering according to a report by the New England Journal of Medicine released today, the United States spends more on treating the illness than any other disease including cancer and heart disease. This is a punishing illness physically, mentally and financially. The cost of an adult with the illness is now an amazing $50,000 dollars a year. What can you do about the cost dementia?

The majority of the money spent on the illness was revealed to be nursing home expenses, an adult who needs daily care from nurses will be require to spend a lot of money, many families are not prepared from the tremendous financial commitment that comes with the illness. The problem is becoming a major problem to families in the United States but the increases in the illness worldwide has seen other nations suffer from the financial burden as well. In England the NHS has admitted they are not prepared to handle the staggering increases of people being effected by the illness, what to do about dementia cost is a growing problem

This brain disease costs between $157 billion-$215 billion each year, according to a study by the nonprofit RAND. Although treatments for other illnesses like drugs for HIV and cancer are expensive, no drug can really treat dementia, and the day-to-day costs of caring for a patient are very expensive. Medications don't come cheap and even those who opt to take care of their ailing parent at home must deal with lost time at work and frequent emergencies. It is a 24 hour a day job, waiting on the drug makers is a huge mistake, there is not a drug that stops the punishing effects of the illness, waiting on big billion dollar pharmaceutical companies is where so many lose the fight

How to reverse Alzheimer's Disease? What the drug makers don't tell you

When we first showed how to reverse Alzheimer's disease back in 2006 our research was new, a very specialized diet is the key reversing the illness, we are not speaking of a “good diet” but a very targeted diet scientifically proven to restore memory, this diet has now be used in over 10 countries. It is also important to know the role that stress plays in Alzheimer's disease, how to reverse the illness can touch on many areas but the area of stress is very interesting

What does stress have to do with the brain

Stress hormones were shown in studies to rapidly increase the formation of brain lesions that are the well known signs of Alzheimer’s disease, what surprised researchers was how fast the Amyloid plaques and tau tangles formed under stressful conditions, this was shown in even the youngest of lab animals. These plaques and tau tangles are the reason you or your loved ones lose much of the brain functioning with Alzheimer’s or dementia. When we showed how to reverse the illness in University studies the Tau tangles and Amyloid plaques were shown to be arrested under a specialized diet.

More on Stress

In a study with genetically altered mice, Prof LaFerla, professor of neurobiology and behavior, and a team of UCI researchers found that when young animals were injected for just seven days with dexamethasone, a glucocorticoid similar to the body’s stress hormones, the levels of the protein beta-amyloid in the brain increased by 60 percent. This is a remarkable amount of beta- amyloid increase in the brain, in our very stressful modern living it is clear that the brain can be effected.

How to reverse Alzheimer's disease, timing is crucial to the reversal of the illness, each day the plaques and tau tangles do considerable damage to the precious brain white matter, those who wait risk losing more brain function. The reversal of of the illness can be achieved without pharmaceutical drugs, we have demonstrated this in over 10 countries., Click the blue brain at the top of this page and learn how to reverse the damaging effects of the illness naturally. My mother may have dementia, What should I do?

My mother may have dementia was the last email we received yesterday,  it is important to know how the illness progresses. Alzheimer’s disease is known to progress in stages, what this means in the most simplistic term is that the illness gets progressively worst. There are increasing numbers of people being effected so it is important to reverse the illness as early as possible. Susan stated “ My mother may have dementia” what should I do?

More people losing the memory

The numbers of people suffering from Alzheimer's disease worldwide is increasing at an alarming rate, this has cause health officials in the United States, England,Canada and Australia to recognize a very important fact, we are not ready to handle the millions of new cases that will soon come our way. If you are in this situation it is important to observe very closely the person who may have the illness. Look for confusion and memory loss as major signs. The “confusion” from doing simple tasks like cooking or things of that nature may be your earliest warning sign, do not assume it is the illness but watch very carefully. Confusion is a sign that we often ignore, people focus very much on memory loss (and rightfully so) but there are other clues to look for. If you are also saying “My mother may have dementia” There are 2 important facts to dwell on, one is time and the other is reversal.

Time and Reversal

The illness can be reversed in many ways we it is confronted quickly, we have studied this for many years and much can be done to stop it if it is attacked early. We have seen much of the illness reverse when the brain is put in the right environment. Alzheimer's disease must be attacked in the right way and the earlier you confront the illness the better the outcome. Time is critical, from our research we can say that the longer you wait to reverse the illness, the more difficult it is to achieve reversal.

It is the belief of this site Mal Alzheimer that everyone over 50 should start to protect themselves from the illness before it progresses, do not wait for this brain stealing illness to take over. This disease loves to secretly take brain white matter and this is where people lose the fight. . Please follow this site and do not give up. If you are saying my mother may have dementia and wondering what to do, remember the brain can comeback when put in the right healing environment, do not give up even on those who are in the last stages because the brain has a remarkable ability to heal and we hope to show you this. We have seen that a very specialized diet can reverse much of the illness and save the brain, this means going beyond a good diet or even a healthy diet, we are speaking of one that attacks the illness for all sides naturally

Dementia Fear, what to do and what to look for

The fear of dementia should be real, the illness can do some very horrible things to the brain. One of the greatest worries when dealing with this illness is the dangerous effects on the life of the person suffering with the illness. One of the greatest worries which we will tackle in this post will deal with wandering. This is a very real problem and a fear of dementia that many will have to one day confront.

It is common to read in the newspapers about an Alzheimer's sufferer who is lost, the person may have left their home or wondered out of a nursing home. This is a very unsettling situation and one that I have experienced first hand. A few years ago a woman who was in her early 70's was on the bus and she told me she had been lost for over 2 hours. My friend and I tried to help her with directions. We had a great little conversation with her and she was wonderfully nice. She agreed to ride with us for the whole 20 minute ride. After speaking with her for about 10 minutes we could see that this very pleasant and friendly woman had a problem. She started rambling about her husband and other things that showed classical signs of Alzheimer’s disease. This is the great dementia fear, to be lost and totally confused.

The woman turned from us and started speaking with a young family, suddenly the woman hops of the bus and started going in a completely different direction. It was too late for us to do anything and the situation happened so fast that it took us all quite a few minutes before we recognized that we were actually with a lost dementia patient. What a fear for so many families. The experience does show us some amazing things about the illness, often the suffer seems quite normal and then they will say something that is really off. For example, they may think John F Kennedy is still the President of the United States. This is why it is critical to attack and protect from this illness as quickly as possible. We should all fear dementia and do something about it before the brain is affected.

This site has been set up because we believe and have seen in our research that a very specific diet combination can reverse much the illness. We have seen this and urge you to protect your brain. Learn the signs of the illness and be one guard because many with this illness do wander into the streets. A we are more aware of the illness we will be able to help more people like the lady on the bus.
