Can you protect against Dementia? What to do

Can you protect against dementia? Researchers have attacked this question and have come to the conclusion that much can be done which will arrest the illness; there are quite a few steps which a person can do to form a protective barrier for the brain against illness. A recent study has revealed something that we have spoken about often on this site; the brain has an incredible ability to heal. In this post we will address the question “Can you protect against dementia?”

It is a fact that every single person young and old should seek some protection against the illness, Alzheimer’s is a progressive illness which starts more than 20 years before the first symptoms appear, this is something that we have reported on and has been documented by University researchers.  When it comes to guarding against this disease researchers have recently pointed out that certain factors can truly help protect against the illness.

A study by the University of Victoria in British Columbia concluded that socioeconomic status as a child; adult literacy and physical activity during adulthood were major factors in protecting against dementia.

The study highlighted the fact that the brain can build up a reserve which can protect it against future mental dysfunction. Physical and mental exercise can be a great benefit to the brain. Can you protect against dementia? Yes you can.

Those who have Alzheimer’s disease can be greatly helped with diet, we have shown this in over 10 countries, regardless of how much the illness has progressed there is always a chance to reverse some are all of the affects of the illness.

The dementia diet is used in over 10 countries to improve memory and mood in those who already have Alzheimer’s. This diet has worked for thousands of people with dementia; it is never too late to revive the brain!

Help Early Onset Alzheimer's: What to do about it

Early onset Alzheimer's disease is a very serious sign of cognitive decline, this condition is increasing worldwide, a new study from England highlights how the rise of this brain robbing condition is affecting the financial and emotional well being of millions. Please understand time is not your side with this disease, it is very important to seek help for early onset Alzheimer's disease as this is a progressive illness which causes more extreme loss of mental facilities as time goes by.

Are you prepared?

According to a study from ADI (Alzheimer Disease International) 44 million people live with the disease, but that figure will increase to a staggering 135 million in the next few decades; we are speaking of countless millions of families that will have to deal with the emotional and financial strain of the disease. Anyone who has lived with or who has had to take care of a loved one with the illness can understand the tremendous amount of strain that is placed on the family. Dementia (serious deterioration in mental functions, such as memory, language, orientation and judgment ) is one of the more challenging illnesses in the world which often leads to significant numbers of caregivers who burnout. The help for early onset Alzheimer's starts in the family, there is much that can be done to slow down this illness!

Jeremy Hughes, chief executive of the UK's Alzheimer' Society, said: "Dementia is fast becoming the biggest health and social care challenge of this generation.
"We must tackle dementia now, for those currently living with the condition across the world and for those millions who will develop dementia in the future.
For over 5 years this website Mal Alzheimer has sounded the alarm that it is crucial to get involved in reversing your own mental decline and this is shown to be scientifically possible. The disease has been shown to halt and even reverse when a combination of natural substances are administered. The billion pharmaceutical companies will never publish this and have held a choke hold on a cure by dismissing natural substances which have been shown to stop the mental decline; it is documented to IMPROVE patient mood, memory and behavior. There is help for early onset Alzheimer's disease.

It is crucial to anyone with this illness that they understand the politics (money) behind the FDA and the Drug makers, this is a money making partnership that profits over $$300 billion dollars a year in medication dispensing.
Natural substances which are shown to help your family are not funded because a pharmaceutical company is not allow to profit from a natural substance. (that one sentence describes the condition of healthcare in the United States.

Sadly people are not treated because there is no profit for the drug company, do not sit back and wait for this illness to steal your independence; it is important to actively seek to save your own brain.

What is Dementia with Lewy bodies? What can help

What is Dementia with lewy bodies? This is an illness very similar to Alzheimer's disease, there are almost 2 million people in the United States who suffer from the disease. In this post we will try to explain exactly how this illness effects the brain. Most people are familiar with how an Alzheimer patient may lose memory but not as many are aware of what dementia with lewy bodies is and how it effects the brain.

Protein on the brain

Lewy bodies are actually a buildup of a protein called alphasynuclein, though the reason that these protein aggregations form in some brain cells. What most people are not aware of is that these proteins cannot be observed by the naked eye, it is not only until a person has passed away that an autopsy can reveal these proteins under a microscope. Alphasynuclein protein build up in the brain can have some very horrible consequences on the patient, the illness is strongly associated with the tremors and difficult muscle movements with Parkinson’s disease. Dementia with Lewy bodies can be explained non-medically as a common memory loss illness with a brain build up of a protein which effects body movement (It should be noted that this illness can cause delusions and hallucinations but we will explore this in a later post).

What to do

The brain has an incredible ability to heal when it is put in the correct healing environment, meditation studies have shown that the brain can indeed heal even in situations where medications have been of little help. Lewybody dementias are associated with reductions in important brain chemicals called neurotransmitters, including dopamine and acetylcholine, medications have failed to address this but natural therapies has helped. Unfortunately natural therapies which have been shown to address the brain chemical imbalances from dementias do not receive funding, we are forced to rely on big pharma and their quest for a billion dollar profit drug. It important to explore all healing options when seeking to reversed dementias, never give up or wait on big pharma medications. Medications should be just one tool in fighting Dementia with lewy bodies.

Quality of life can improve and memory can be restored even in advanced cases, waiting and doing nothing allows the brain plaques to accumulate and the Tau Tangles to increase, dealing with brain diseases must mean fighting back. The brain is begging for activation even in the most advance cases of Alzheimer’s disease, many meditations have proven this.

An understanding of what dementia with lewy bodies really is has shown us that much can be achieved without the use of pharmaceutical drugs; we have demonstrated this in over 10 countries.

Dealing with Dementia: What to do

Dealing with Dementia: What to do

Dealing with dementia is not only difficult for the patient it can be a very difficult for caregivers and family members as well. The increasing numbers of Alzheimer’s disease cases are causing financial and emotional challenges for families trying to support those affected by the illness. According to the Center for Disease control the age-adjusted death rate from Alzheimer's disease increased by 39 percent from 2000 through 2010 in the United States, it is clear that dealing with dementia has become a major crisis.

With more and more people suffering from the Alzheimer’s some patients are considering suicides as a way to stop the suffering.  A man,83 from England was reported to have been the first person from the UK who was assisted by his doctor in committing suicide in Switzerland. The Dr. Michael Irwin told the BBC: "He knew how the illness was likely to develop and he did not want to suffer that process himself and also he wanted to make certain that his family did not see him suffer". Dealing with dementia can be extremely difficult for the person with the illness, the physical and mental challenges can become overwhelming.  Depression among those with Alzheimer’ is common due to the fact that patient often feels that the situation is will get progressively worst.  Suicide should not be an option, Alzheimer’s patients and families must understand that the brain is a remarkable organ with an amazing ability to heal.

Unfortunately, too many who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease are not aware that the brain has an incredible ability to heal itself, never give up on reversing this illness. The brain plaques and Tau tangles which are responsible for much of the loss of memory and mood changes can be reversed, when the brain is put in the right environment for healing Alzheimer’s patient show great improvement. We have shown people in over 10 countries that the illness can be reversed to certain degrees. The right combination of brain nutrients can create an environment that reverses irritable, depression and even memory loss, this has been proven. Sadly many with the illness do nothing to reverse the condition. Dealing with dementia is not enough, it is crucial to do more; the longer one wait the more difficult the illness is to reverse.

It is simply not true that Alzheimer’s disease has never been reversed; while there is still no ‘official cure’ much of the symptoms of the illness can be reversed.  Quality of life can improve and memory can be restored even in advanced cases, waiting and doing nothing allows the brain plaques to accumulate and the Tau Tangles to increase, dealing with Dementia means fighting back. The brain is begging for activation even in the most advance cases of Alzheimer’s disease.

The reversal of the illness can be achieved without the use of pharmaceutical drugs; we have demonstrated this in over 10 countries.

I am losing my memory: Why more people are suffering

I am losing my memory

There is a crisis which has been developing in much of the Western world, there is an alarming increase in Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia cases in younger people. Early onset Alzheimer’s disease is on the increase according to a new study published in JAMA Internal Medicine. Around 40,000 people in Ireland have dementia and, for some, loss of mental functions is happening before 50 years. We received a letter from a woman stating “I am losing my memory“,  she is seeking help. Do not take declining mental faculties causally;  it is also important to realize that this is a growing worldwide epidemic which must be treated early to avoid progressively serious complications.

What is happening to our brains?

The United States and Europe recently revealed startling health reports showing increases in the number (and projected number) of Alzheimer’s disease cases.  According to a study by the National Health Society and published by the National End of Life Care Intelligence Network in England, a soaring number of people will die in nursing homes with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.  The increase in England is projected to rise by 72%, to an estimated 1,055,000 people within the next 2 decades!

In response to the email we received where the mailer revealed her situation very plainly, “I am losing my memory”, the Center of Disease Control concludes loss of mental function is occurring at an alarming in the USA.

In the United States, the increasing number of Alzheimer’s cases was cited by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), 5.2 million Americans have Alzheimer's or some other form of dementia and this is increasing rapidly. The number of people with dementia will jump to 13.8 million by 2050 the CDC report predicts. Mal Alzheimer researchers have concluded that the number one cause of the increase in dementia in young and old is inflammation, inflammatory related brain disorders from processed foods are spreading worldwide.

Inflammation related dementia from processed foods is the true cause of the increasing dementia epidemic.  This can only be reversed with a targeted diet of precise nutrition for the brain. The exact combination of natural ingredients work together to cause a synergy affect reversing the damaging affects of Alzheimer's disease.

Getting your full brain function back

I am losing my memory: This is the only site (now used in 10 countries) revealing how to fight back and   reverse dementia, memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease naturally with targeted nutrition combinations, this is what has worked for thousands.

People have reversed Alzheimer’s disease even in middle late stages by using a specialized diet proven to reverse Alzheimer’s plaques.
How to reverse Alzheimer's disease?  Timing is crucial to the reversal of the illness, each day the plaques and tau tangles do considerable damage to the precious brain white matter, those who wait risk losing more brain function as mental decline is progressive.

The reversal of the dementia symptoms can be achieved without pharmaceutical drugs; we have demonstrated this in over 10 countries.

Signs of memory loss increasing, what to do about it

There are signs of memory loss and Dementia occurring in an alarming numbers of people according to a new study examining the incredible rise of Alzheimer's disease. This is just the tip of the iceberg, those who are not protecting themselves from these illnesses will be faced with incredible health challenges in the next few years, there are an estimated 3 million more people in the United States who will be affected with Alzheimer's disease within the next decade. Researchers have noted a sharp increase in memory loss, we urge you to heed the signs.

A New wave of Dementia is coming

Dementia and Alzheimer's disease are progressive illnesses, these diseases advance in stages, each stage becoming progressively worst. It is crucial to stop the advancement of the illness before the Tau Tangles and the Amyloid plaques increase, most people who are at risk do nothing, waiting is when the illness takes hold. A new study by The Cognitive Module in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 2011 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) confirms the growing prevalence of cognitive decline and future implications of an aging America.

Unfortunately, the number of people affected by dementia is growing at an alarming rate as the baby boomer population grows older,” said Richard Elbein, CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association, Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter. “Most people don’t know when forgetting becomes a serious health problem. By putting off learning more about their condition, people impacted by dementia are being diagnosed too late and miss the opportunity to get the best help possible.”

The study highlighted the fact that Alzheimer's disease and dementia is increasing extremely fast and taking many people by surprise, it is crucial to address the illness before the brain is deeply effected.

Mal Alzheimer is the number one Alzheimer's and Dementia site in the world with the only diet shown to reverse the illness even in late stages, we know these illness well and it is very possible to reverse memory loss when a combination of natural ingredients are used to reverse Tau tangles and Amyloid plaques. Over the last 5 years we have stated to our thousands of readers that you must not ignore the beginnings of failed memory, this is in agreement with the Houston Alzheimer's Association.

If you notice signs of memory loss in yourself or someone you know, don’t ignore them,” Elbein said

Thousands of users of the Mal Alzheimer diet know that the reversal of of the illness can be achieved without pharmaceutical drugs, we have demonstrated this in over 10 countries., Click the blue brain at the top of this page and learn how to reverse the damaging effects of the illness naturally. Depressed Alzheimer's Disease: Are you being ignored?

Can Alzheimer's disease leave you feeling depressed? the answer is yes according to mental health officials in Holland. There are over 5 million people in the United States who suffer from this horrible brain robbing illness and the numbers are increasing rapidly, according to the Center of Disease Control (CDC) the numbers of people suffering will double in a decade. What is not often discussed is that there are many seniors living depressed with Alzheimer's but are not getting the help that they need.

Suffering in silence?

Due to the nature of the illness it is quite possible for a person with the illness to not have their emotional needs met, for a dementia sufferer it can be very depressing to lose the independence that they once had and this can lead to deep depression. Often we accept depression in dementia sufferers as a normal part of this debilitating condition and this can cause people to be left untreated. We cannot simply accept sadness and depression as a normal development from the illness, if the depression is not addressed it can lead to an increased loss of mental capabilities. Living in depression is not really living.

Can anti depressants help?

It is rare for a depressed Alzheimer's patient to be prescribed anti depressants, usually they are relegated to “Live” with the depression. How often do we ask a person with Alzheimer's disease if they are depressed?

Are you being heard?

It is a sad and unfortunate fact that in the West many seniors needs are frequently not heard, when it comes to their feelings we do not really “listen” to how they say they are feeling, in many cases the adult children become the parent to their parents but are these adult children really listening? Are we really listen to the needs of the Alzheimer's sufferer? Are they depressed and do they need help? The loss of independence is the worst part of the illness, and this can be the root cause of the depression. Mal Alzheimer believes that there is more in your loved one than meets the eye...Why not give your loved one a fighting chance? What to do about dementia cost

It is not because of drugs(medication) but the cost of dementia is staggering according to a report by the New England Journal of Medicine released today, the United States spends more on treating the illness than any other disease including cancer and heart disease. This is a punishing illness physically, mentally and financially. The cost of an adult with the illness is now an amazing $50,000 dollars a year. What can you do about the cost dementia?

The majority of the money spent on the illness was revealed to be nursing home expenses, an adult who needs daily care from nurses will be require to spend a lot of money, many families are not prepared from the tremendous financial commitment that comes with the illness. The problem is becoming a major problem to families in the United States but the increases in the illness worldwide has seen other nations suffer from the financial burden as well. In England the NHS has admitted they are not prepared to handle the staggering increases of people being effected by the illness, what to do about dementia cost is a growing problem

This brain disease costs between $157 billion-$215 billion each year, according to a study by the nonprofit RAND. Although treatments for other illnesses like drugs for HIV and cancer are expensive, no drug can really treat dementia, and the day-to-day costs of caring for a patient are very expensive. Medications don't come cheap and even those who opt to take care of their ailing parent at home must deal with lost time at work and frequent emergencies. It is a 24 hour a day job, waiting on the drug makers is a huge mistake, there is not a drug that stops the punishing effects of the illness, waiting on big billion dollar pharmaceutical companies is where so many lose the fight

Alzheimer's getting worst? What's in your home

BPA what is it? In the simplest language it is found in plastics. Bisphenol is commonly known as BPA and this substance can really disrupt your brain. Commonly found in hard plastic food and drink containers it has been shown in studies to have a very negative effect on the brain. Many have stated that this chemical is one of the main causes of the Alzheimer's and dementia explosion..

We have shown from studies that the illness of dementia and Alzheimer's can be reversed when you put the brain in the right atmosphere for healing. The reason for the Alzheimer's disease crisis is due to a number of major factors and most researchers are not attacking the illness in the right way. The silver bullet approach will not work. Bisphenol is found every where in almost everything plastic, the use of this substance in plastic is excessive due to the fact that it is cheap to produce. The “Cheap” approach to your health can leave you very sick.

There is a direct link to BPA and brain function

Researchers at the University of Guelph and Yale University showed that BPA has a direct negative effect on the brain. “It dramatically impairs the formation of synapses in the regions of the brain important to learning,” said biomedical science professor Neil MacLusky. “These findings are worrisome because BPA is one of the most widely-used chemicals in the world.”

This chemical is one of the widely-used in the world, this is a very alarming statement when you consider that the CDC predicts over 5 million cases of Alzheimer's and Dementia in less than a decade. If you are suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia do not give up we have shown in over 7 countries that the illness can be reversed when the brain is put in the correct atmosphere with the right nutrients that cross the blood brain barrier. 2 more cases of death from Dementia

Death from Dementia: Two seniors with dementia were found dead this morning, A man 75 had apparently wandered from his nursing home facility. In a separate incident a woman aged 88 was found dead about 150 yards from her home in Michigan. One of the more frequent questions that we get on this site is how does the illness of dementia cause death. The answer in most cases is simply that the person has forgotten how to take care of themselves. The world becomes a very dangerous place for the person suffering from the illness.

There are many with Alzheimer's disease who have been found dead after wondering out in the cold freezing weather with not much clothes on. The mental confusion that accompanies this illness is grave, the brain loses valuable brain matter when one is affected with Alzheimer's disease there are important parts of the brain that are deeply damaged. Memory loss is what most people think about with dementia but there are other issues such as confusion. When a person with Alzheimer's disease becomes confused they may wonder from the house and put  themselves grave danger.

Alzheimer's disease is a horrible illness, The picture on the right of this page shows you the picture of the normal brain and the contrasting picture of the brain with Alzheimer's disease.

This damage effects the personality of the person very deeply. It is important that the person with this illness
be protected inside the house and outside. They will need an incredible amount of attention, this can be very trying and it requires a tremendous amount of patience. The death from dementia in these 2 cases are a very important message that we must give an incredible amount of attention to the person suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia.

Dementia Fear, what to do and what to look for

The fear of dementia should be real, the illness can do some very horrible things to the brain. One of the greatest worries when dealing with this illness is the dangerous effects on the life of the person suffering with the illness. One of the greatest worries which we will tackle in this post will deal with wandering. This is a very real problem and a fear of dementia that many will have to one day confront.

It is common to read in the newspapers about an Alzheimer's sufferer who is lost, the person may have left their home or wondered out of a nursing home. This is a very unsettling situation and one that I have experienced first hand. A few years ago a woman who was in her early 70's was on the bus and she told me she had been lost for over 2 hours. My friend and I tried to help her with directions. We had a great little conversation with her and she was wonderfully nice. She agreed to ride with us for the whole 20 minute ride. After speaking with her for about 10 minutes we could see that this very pleasant and friendly woman had a problem. She started rambling about her husband and other things that showed classical signs of Alzheimer’s disease. This is the great dementia fear, to be lost and totally confused.

The woman turned from us and started speaking with a young family, suddenly the woman hops of the bus and started going in a completely different direction. It was too late for us to do anything and the situation happened so fast that it took us all quite a few minutes before we recognized that we were actually with a lost dementia patient. What a fear for so many families. The experience does show us some amazing things about the illness, often the suffer seems quite normal and then they will say something that is really off. For example, they may think John F Kennedy is still the President of the United States. This is why it is critical to attack and protect from this illness as quickly as possible. We should all fear dementia and do something about it before the brain is affected.

This site has been set up because we believe and have seen in our research that a very specific diet combination can reverse much the illness. We have seen this and urge you to protect your brain. Learn the signs of the illness and be one guard because many with this illness do wander into the streets. A we are more aware of the illness we will be able to help more people like the lady on the bus.
