Reverse Alzheimer’s disease? What are you eating?

You can reverse Alzheimer’s disease with nutrition, this is no longer a question; it be done. Researchers at UCLA and NYU have proven what Mal Alzheimer has shown for over 5 years; the illness can be greatly improved with targeted nutrition.  Often people are led to believe that “skinny” automatically means “healthy”, be this is not the case. A new study reveals that people who are overweight have less of a chance of developing dementia than thin people. You can reverse Alzheimer disease symptoms, it is crucial to understand the role of nutrition and its affect on the brain.

The new study from England is quite an eye opener; it shows how healthy cognitive functioning is related to nutrition. Bodyweight plays a very important role in the brain; the study reveals that overweight people are protected against dementia more than thin people.

The team at Oxon Epidemiology and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine analyzed the medical records from almost 2000 people aged 55, on average, for over 20 years. This was an amazing number of people and it gives us a good overview on the workings of the brain and bodyweight.
Their most conservative analysis showed underweight people had an almost 40% greater risk of dementia compared with a person who was healthy weight!
But those who were overweight did even better, lowering dementia risk by almost an additional 20%!
The researchers were shocked. "Yes, it is a surprise," said lead researcher Dr Nawab Qizilbash.   At Mal Alzheimer this study does not shock us; many overweight people are getting targeted nutrition which thin people are missing.

The Mal Alzheimer diet is still the number one natural diet to revere dementia, and is used in over 10 countries. What can you expect to experience with the targeted diet?
A diet of combined nutrition for the brain can result in improved mood, personality or memory in the Alzheimer disease patient.  The diet is crucial to a person at the early stages of dementia, the earlier the targeted nutrition the better the results.  What causes this affect, which has been proven in many clinical studies? It is the combination of certain nutrition which creates a synergy affect which can improve the brain.

My Mom has Dementia, what to do about this

We received an email from a young woman “My mom (mother) has dementia what should I do about this?”  Unfortunately, we are witnessing a boom in the number of people who are being afflicted by Alzheimer’s disease; the situation will continue to get worst. The fact of the matter is that the email we received is becoming to be very common. In this post “My mom has dementia” we will address the brain and its amazing ability to reverse cognitive decline.

The stress of an illness

The worst thing about losing mental faculties is the tremendous amount of stress which is placed not only on the individual with the condition but also the family. There are many personality changes which occur once the brain starts to have difficulties, this can range from anger, depression, and even outbursts.  The physical and financial strains of diminished mental faculties are tremendous but this does not have to be the end of the story, the brain has an incredible ability to heal when placed in a very precise nutritional environment. Do not believe for a second that Alzheimer’s disease cannot improve.

Mom has dementia

It was once believed that diseases like A.I.D.S and cancer could not be improved, people simply accepted the diagnoses then waited for conditions to get worst, this is how so many people view Alzheimer’s disease today. People are not addressing the brain but instead are waiting for some drug to be developed; there is no need to wait for the drug makers to find a billion dollar profit pill for themselves before you get help. A targeted combination of nutritional foods (in the precise measure) can reverse much of Alzheimer’s disease; this has been proven in numerous of studies which will never reach the public due to the politics of big medicine.

The brain responses wonderfully when put in a very precise nutritional environment; it is the combined substances which create a synergy affect which reverses so many of the symptoms of Dementia.  The power of synergy (combining specific foods targeted to improve brain functioning) works because the tau tangles and plaque build up which cause Alzheimer’s disease is addressed from a multi angle approach, this simply works.  My Mom has dementia: Unfortunately, we will hear this more often, yet you have the power to do something.

Help a person with Alzheimer’s disease

You can help a person with Alzheimer’s disease live a much fuller and complete life; it is truly possible to defeat much of the damaging affects of the illness. The number of people who are being affected by the illness is increasing at a rapid pace, it is alarming but we must state the fact that everyone will know someone with the illness in a very short time. Help for a person with Alzheimer’s disease is available when you change your way of thinking about the condition of the brain.

There are too many who look at the diminished mental functioning of dementia as a hopeless situation but this is not the case, there was once a time when people believed AIDS could not be treated but no one believes that today. Much of the brain functioning that has been lost can be returned, this is a scientific fact that more people need to be aware of.  The brain has an incredible ability to heal when put in the right nutritional environment; it is a remarkable organ that is worth fighting for.   In our last post we revealed how doctors from UCLA admitted for the first time that diet had the power to reverse dementia; it actually worked in a small group of people. You can help a person with Alzheimer’s disease when you understand that the brain can heal, this is what so many are not aware of.

We have demonstrated in our own studies and the Mal Alzheimer diet that the right specific combination of foods has a synergy affect which can retard much of the memory loss in dementia patients. Bad mood, changes in personality, Anger and irritability can all be improves when the right combination of precise nutrition is given over the course of a few weeks, this has been demonstrated in numerous of University studies.

Dementia and won’t eat

It is a common complaint in people who are at a certain stage of dementia, they won’t eat. When a person who is experiencing a diminished mental faculty will not consume food it can become a very difficult situation for the caretaker. It should be known that the numbers of people who have Alzheimer’s disease is increasing at an alarming rate world wide; many will be faced with confronting this illness. A person with dementia who won’t eat is one of the more difficult situations that one may have to encounter and it can become frustrating.

Understanding the brain and appetite

The best information which can be obtained on Alzheimer’s disease and appetite from many countless University studies all indicate that there is a very delicate combination of hormones in the brain which control appetite.  The slightest changes in brain hormones can have a very substantial affect on how much a person eats. We can learn a lot from the brains of children and adult who have experienced physical, sexual, verbal or emotional abuse, MRI images show that the area of the brain which controls appetite is changed after abuses. There is a direct connection to eating disorders, appetite and abuses; this is very relevant information for a person with Dementia who won’t eat.  The brain is very complex and the changes which come from illnesses like Alzheimer’s can change the personality and appetite tremendously.

Balance the hormones back to normal

The most important thing to know is that dementia can be reversed, we have revealed this to thousands of people in 10 countries; the brain has an incredible ability to revive when put in the right healing environment. The correct combinations of targeted foods can cause a reversal of many of the negative affects of the illness. It is possible to improve mood, behavior and memory from the administration of the right combination of very specific brain targeted foods; this is documented in countless of studies. If you are taking care of a person with dementia who won’t eat, feed them the Mal Alzheimer’s diet.  The parts of the diet which can be consumed in a blender should be utilized in that fashion if the person will not eat solid foods. Over time the appetite will surprisingly return on the Mal Alzheimer diet. This is the protocol to use to return the appetite.

Reverse Alzheimer’s disease? Why many are starting to believe us

When you talk about the possibility to reverse Alzheimer’s disease there are always people (who have no understanding of the human brain) who are willing to tell you why it cannot be done. At Mal Alzheimer we have seen the reversal of the symptoms of the illness in many people, despite the critics medical professionals are finally starting to believe.  We have shown people that you can reverse Alzheimer’s disease even in middle late stages when you understand how the brain works, this week doctor’s finally agreed!

It amazes me how people are not willing to even try to help their loved ones reverse this illness, feeling sorry for them is not enough. It is absolutely necessary to try to heal a person who is losing their mental faculties. The brain has an incredible ability to heal when put in the right environment for healing, there was a time when A.I.D.S was viewed as a fast death sentence, and no one believes this today. Those of us who remember when A.I.D.S first spread in the world may remember that it was seen as hopeless to even consider treating the illness. To reverse Alzheimer’s disease is not only possible it has been done! in many cases there have been complete reversals.

The success of the Mal Alzheimer diet is due to the fact that we show dementia and all brain illnesses must be attacked with diet from many different angles at the same time.

The drug makers have profited 10 billion dollars annually on dementia medications with no cure yet the public is content with this, yet talk of a natural cure and the public is often not even open to even the possibility.

We would love to ask the public what has Alzheimer’s medications done for your loved ones?

Thankfully thousands in Europe, America and other countries have used a targeted “diet” to reverse much of the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.

Now they believe

Brain Researchers stunned the media yesterday when they admitted that we were right attacking Alzheimer’s from many angles can reverse much of the illness. They said for the first time they may have reversed Alzheimer’s disease.  What was the drug? There was NO DRUG..only DIET

"Everybody knows you can't reverse this. Once you lose it you can't get it back," said Dr. Dale Bredesen, neuroscientist at UCLA and author of the study.

"And I said, 'Well maybe that's not the case.'"

They witnesssed a reversal in 10 people in the UCLA study

"So this is the beginning. This is the toe in the water. We are seeing for the first time reversals in cognitive decline, and we need to do many more patients and we need to do much more documentation," said Bredesen.

We don’t want to say I told you so…but..this is the case…we did.  With this news from UCLA expect to see many imitators of our diet in the next few years but stick with the original Mal Alzheimer diet

What foods should a person with Alzheimer’s disease eat? The truth

What foods should a person with Alzheimer’s eat is one of the more common questions yet few get the right answers. It is clear that most people including medical professionals are not fully aware that food has a powerful impact on the brain of a person with this illness. If you are a caretaker it is important that you know more than the patient’s doctors, you are the one who will be administering most of the food not the doctors.  In addressing the question of what foods should a person with Alzheimer’s disease eat we will reveal a very fascinating connection to another illness.

This is your brain on inflammation

Most people have absolutely no clue that dementia and diabetes are linked, this does not mean that high blood sugar necessarily causes dementia but it does mean that excessive glucose is dangerous to the brain.

A remarkable recent study showed that people with type 2 high blood sugar were twice as likely to have mild brain functioning impairment as those without diabetes. The study revealed that mild cognitive problems are a stage of mental decline that can come before more serious dementia.

"Maintain your diabetes treatment to help prevent mental decline."

Angela Winkler, MA, in the Department of Neurology at University Hospital Essen in Germany

Dementia is an inflammation disease similar to diabetes

The brain is a very powerful organ and it can repair, when mental faculties start to become negatively affected do not believe that this cannot be repaired. The link between diabetes and the loss of brain function is due to inflammation, when seeking which foods a person with Alzheimer’s should eat it is important to know that this disease is also an inflammation disease.

The failure of diabetes and dementia medications is due to the fact that most of this billion dollar profit drugs do not reduce inflammation. (This is only one of many reasons why you should treat Alzheimer’s disease with diet). There are no medications that can stop dementia but the right foods given specifically in the right combinations can! We have proven this in over 10 countries.

The person with Alzheimer’s must be given a healing diet, most people aim for a good diet but this is not enough. When it comes to the brain “good” is not enough, healing is the only thing that can revive the brain. The brain has an incredible ability to revive when put in the right healing environment. People spend on average $10,000 dollars a year on a person with dementia yet they receive no healing, these patients never get any better despite over $5,000 spent yearly on dementia drugs

What foods should a person with Alzheimer’s disease eat?

What should someone with Alzheimer’s disease eat? An answer

We received an email “What should someone with Alzheimer’s disease eat?” this is an excellent question that is best answered from a scientific perspective. It should be noted right from the start that dementia is not a hopeless situation; much can be done to reverse symptoms of this illness. The sooner that people come to the realization that the brain has a tremendous capacity to heal better the outcome for the person.  This brings us back to the question of “What should someone with Alzheimer’s disease eat?” to best answer the question we should address what the diet is trying to do.

The limitations of a good diet

Those who are seeking a diet for dementia are usually looking for healthy nutrition, this is a good thing but it is not enough; a good diet is not the same thing as a healing diet. Many people are under the impression that green tea is good for the brain but this is not the full story. Green tea can be very good for the body but a recent study shows that it does not cross the blood barrier in the brain.  Unless a substance can get to through the blood brain barrier it cannot help the brain.

Study

A study published in Nutritional Neuroscience found that after ingesting green tea substances were found in the bloodstream but that it did not cross into the brain blood barrier

Following acute ingestion of green tea by six human subjects, HPLC-MS2 analysis revealed that flavan-3-ol methyl, glucuronide and sulfate metabolites appeared in the bloodstream but did not pass through the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier.

When it comes to the “What should someone with Alzheimer’s disease eat” question, it is important to know what you are eating for, are you eating for health or to actually reverse the illness?  In defense of green tea it was shown to have very positive effects on the body and lowered harmful inflammation. What the study shows us is that green tea may be good for the health of the person with Dementia but there is no proof it can reverse the illness.

Reversal?

The brain has an incredible ability to heal and the right combination of natural ingredients have been shown in numerous studies to reverse aspects of Alzheimer’s disease, this worked even in middle late stages. What does this mean to the person with Alzheimer’s disease? For the users of our Mal Alzheimer Diet it can mean improved memory, better mood or improved overall behavior. It can mean more life with the illness or even reversal of much of the symptoms. This has been shown in over 10 countries.

What is a Good diet for a person with dementia

What is a good diet for a person with dementia? It should be noted that certain foods can have a tremendous impact on Alzheimer’s disease. The research is clear that certain nutrients can actually promote the creation of new brain cells, there is a very powerful research behind food and brain functioning; the right combination of nutrients can greatly improve the illness. We will go as far as saying that a good diet for a person with dementia has the ability to reverse aspects of the illness an improve mood.

A look at what healing food can do for the brain

It surprised doctors when they discovered that the humble little “blueberries” had a profound positive affect on the brain. Blueberries in the right dosage (half a cup) were found to have a positive “medicinal-like” effect on the cells of the brain.  The power of the blueberries resides in the fact that they helped remove toxic accumulations in the brain, how many doctors have told you about this?

The research which was presented at the Experimental Biology conference revealed the very exciting results; this was also published in the Huffington Post.

Researchers found that the blueberry consumption was linked with increased autophagy, which is the natural process the brain undergoes to clear out accumulation of toxic proteins. They noted that phytonutrients – plant chemicals — in blueberries may be responsible for this effect; berries are known to be high in anthocyanins

The research, presented at the Experimental Biology 2013 meeting, showed that the brains of the subjects which consumed berries for two months were better protected against radiation, which is meant to induce accelerated aging in the mice.  This is only one of tons of research showing that blueberries are incredible for the brain.

(Those with dementia have a lower level of autophagy and the blueberries raise the level)

This is nothing short of amazing what a few blueberries can do, Mal Alzheimer is the number one natural diet site for reversing Alzheimer’s in the world. Our 80 page reverse dementia diet report has been read in over 20 countries because it works.

It is important to understand that even the slightest improve in cell functioning can have quite an affect on a person with dementia; the brain is a very complex instrument and to be quite frank, you may be completely shocked what a good diet for a person with dementia can do.   As good as blueberries are for the brain, a combination of the right natural ingredients are proven to help the brain of a person with dementia even in the middle late stages!  The combination of the right foods is much more powerful than blueberries against dementia; this is what we have reported on in so many countries. Do not let a loved one continue with this illness without attempting to beat it naturally.

Treat Mild Dementia swiftly to stave of a problem

Dementia is a very dangerously progressive illness, a mild condition is a signal to halt the disease before further loss of mental functions progress. We arr experiencing a Worldwide spread of Alzheimer’s disease and unfortunately many are not prepared for the damaging affects of what the illness brings; it is essential to guard against the loss of mental faculties. What do we mean mild dementia? We are speaking of someone who is functioning in the early stage of the illness and beginning to experience some functional and safety impairments due to the brain changes.

A progressive illness

According to The Australian Government Health Agency

The progression of dementia, from the early stages to the final severe form of the disease, varies from person to person. A person's abilities will deteriorate - sometimes rapidly, over a few months; in other cases, more slowly, over a number of years.

It is crucial to recognize that much can be done to arrest the progression of the illness (regardless of what stage you are presently in ) and this is what so many people neglect to understand. From our research it is clear that much can be done to address the illness naturally, this area gets so little funding although it it has been shown to work to slow or even “reverse” Mild dementia. So many are suffering from the effects of Alzheimer’s and are doing absolutely nothing natural to address the illness.

It is as sad fact that most people address Alzheimer’s disease and other memory robbing illness from a defensive position; waiting and watching the illness progress is what too many are doing. This is an illness that does response to natural treatment when it is applied regularly and consistently! The symptoms of the illness are quite damaging to the brain and body, we have stated on the :MAL ALZHEIMER website for over 5 years that the saddest aspect of the illness is the loss of independence; Alzheimer’s patients are often depressed as a result of depression. We have shown thousands that Mild dementia can be stopped or even reversed, this is a scientific fact that we have shown to people in now 10 countries.

Stopping Alzheimer's disease before it starts: Illness now attacking the young

Stopping Alzheimer's disease before it starts should be everyone's health goal, a new study has revealed how the illness is attacking younger people in growing numbers. There are over 5 million people in the United States who are suffering with Dementia, the illness is expected to double over the next decade, what may be equally alarming is that researchers of the illness reveal many are not aware the illness starts decades before the first signs. Stopping Alzheimer's disease before the signs are evident is crucial.

Will we all acquire Alzheimer's disease?

In a new study from Boston University it was revealed why early protection from the illness is necessary

Dr. Robert Stern is director of the clinical core of Boston University's Alzheimer's Disease Center."The disease starts around 15-25 years before the first symptoms, and it's only when enough brain tissue gets devastated by the disease that the symptoms begin," said Stern

The progression of the illness is characterized by damaging plaque accumulation in the brain, often 20 years before the first signs of memory loss the plaques have effected the brain. Alzheimer's disease is increasing, it is essential to protect the brain from this illness. The effects of Dementia is so much more than just memory loss, the most discouraging aspect of the illness may be the lost of independence, the need for others to help in doing tasks that use to be accomplished independently.

Why wait? The younger people are being effected

Younger onset dementia has become an increasing public concern because more people are being diagnosed and their needs are not being adequately met by existing services that are more geared towards older people,” says lead researcher, Conjoint Professor Brian Draper from UNSW’s School of Psychiatry.

Getting a dementia diagnosis is a horrible experience, Mal Alzheimer is the only site dedicated to proving that stopping and even reversing Alzheimer's disease is completely possible. We have shown people in over 10 countries that it is possible to save the brain and reverse the illness even in those with severe to moderate Alzheimer's disease. The brain has a powerful ability to reverse this illness when put in the right environment and we have proven this in over 10 countries

What to do about dementia and the diet

What to do about dementia is a problem that many millions of people are dealing with and which many more millions are going to have to deal with. We stated 5 years ago when we started our research in Oslo that this illness attacks many years before the first signs appear and that food chemicals are causing the incredible outbreak of diabetes, obesity and Alzheimer's. With over 8 million more people expected to be effected in the next few decades , “what to do about dementia “is a question you should be asking yourself before the first signs of the illness appear.

A modern phenomena: The linking of illnesses

There has been a steady rise in obesity, diabetes and dementia, these illnesses are rising at the same astronomical rate and this is not just a coincidence. Our research predicted the outbreak of the Alzheimer's crisis many years ago, we saw that the connection to other illnesses were revealing a dangerous pattern which is sweeping much of the Western hemisphere. Yesterday data presented at the European Congress on Obesity suggests that there is a connection between the rise in obesity and dementia.

Jessica Smith, a research officer at Alzheimer's Society, said:
"Evidence shows that obesity increases the risk of developing dementia. This study highlights the impact obesity will have on the numbers of people with the condition in the future”
This is just the tip of the iceberg more people are already effected by Dementia but have not experienced the symptoms yet.

What is important to draw from the study is the fact that today many illnesses are interrelated in a way that was not so apparent years ago, when we predicted the rise in dementia 5 years ago we noticed that diabetes and obesity were going up at almost the very same level. It is important to know that most people who are effected by Alzheimer's disease are not overweight, this is not a paradox, the issue is related to the food more than they weight. We have shown thousands of people how to regain memory and reverse even middle stages of Alzheimer's and dementia. When the root causes of the Alzheimer's are addressed the brain has an incredible ability to come back to life. Do not give up on your loved ones who have been effected by the illness. The brain has an incredible ability to reverse the illness and we have documented this.

What to do about dementia cost

It is not because of drugs(medication) but the cost of dementia is staggering according to a report by the New England Journal of Medicine released today, the United States spends more on treating the illness than any other disease including cancer and heart disease. This is a punishing illness physically, mentally and financially. The cost of an adult with the illness is now an amazing $50,000 dollars a year. What can you do about the cost dementia?

The majority of the money spent on the illness was revealed to be nursing home expenses, an adult who needs daily care from nurses will be require to spend a lot of money, many families are not prepared from the tremendous financial commitment that comes with the illness. The problem is becoming a major problem to families in the United States but the increases in the illness worldwide has seen other nations suffer from the financial burden as well. In England the NHS has admitted they are not prepared to handle the staggering increases of people being effected by the illness, what to do about dementia cost is a growing problem

This brain disease costs between $157 billion-$215 billion each year, according to a study by the nonprofit RAND. Although treatments for other illnesses like drugs for HIV and cancer are expensive, no drug can really treat dementia, and the day-to-day costs of caring for a patient are very expensive. Medications don't come cheap and even those who opt to take care of their ailing parent at home must deal with lost time at work and frequent emergencies. It is a 24 hour a day job, waiting on the drug makers is a huge mistake, there is not a drug that stops the punishing effects of the illness, waiting on big billion dollar pharmaceutical companies is where so many lose the fight

What to do about Alzheimer's Disease: Senior home suffering

Many are wondering what to do about Alzheimer's as the numbers of people with the illness are soaring high n the UK and the United States. What is equally alarming is that a state report from England shows that nursing home patients with dementia are suffering from depression and are experiencing a very low quality of life. With the numbers of people the disease increasing what to do about Alzheimer's has many people perplexed

The low quality of life

The Alzheimer Society charity said that while excellent care exists, less than 50% of the 322,000 sufferers in care homes across the UK have a good quality of life.

Jeremy Hughes, chief executive of the Alzheimer Society, said: “When you walk into an excellent care home it’s full of warmth, activities and interaction. But between these best examples and the worst, which often dominate headlines, there is a forgotten scandal of people with dementia who are failed and left living a life that can only be described as ‘OK’

What to do about Alzheimer's disease

This is a very debilitating illness, it steals more than just the memory it steals the quality of life. The situation described in the majority of nursing homes is really a horrible situation, these patients are barely surviving. These are our loved ones who have lived, worked, loved and now they are in need of our help. Sadly so many are allowing this illness take its course and do more damage to the precious brain cells, it is important to attack this illness hard and swift. It is the purpose of this site to bring back full brain function in those effected. What to do about Alzheimer's disease? We have researched the illness for over 5 years and you must strike hard back the the illness and the brain can revive. Much of the illness can be reversed

I am Depressed: What does Dementia have to do with it

There is a link between dementia and depression, researchers today spoke of the growing cases of depressed elderly people. Alzheimer's cases are expected to triple in the next 25 years, this will create a tremendous burden on families trying to cope with the declining mental health of their loved ones. The increasing numbers of seniors suffering from depression is causes more dementia case. The problem is very prevalent in nursing homes.

The rise in clinical depression

Denise Kirschbaum of James City County Social Services and Deborah LeCalm of Colonial Behavioral Health,  "Depression is not a normal part of aging," LeCalm said. "As individuals get older, they are not addressing their issues with mental health. Mental health is a major problem. It is estimated that sixty-five to ninety percent of nursing home residents have problems with mental health." This is an incredible number of people who are simply not happy. We have accepted a depressive state as a natural course in the aging process and this should not the case. Depression causes changes in the brain, in seniors loneliness can be a strong predictor dementia

Senior homes are not always the best environment for mental stimulation, although the activities may be good and helpful it does not compare to a loving family but his is not always possible in many situations. Many of us do not have the resources to care for a person suffering form dementia or depression. Alzheimer's is a progressive illness that effects the brain's  white and gray matter, time is critical to save much of the brain. LeCalm states that many seniors do not report their depression and accept it as part of their growing old. Do not give up on the brain, there is still time to reverse dementia and Alzheimer's when the brain is put in the right healing environment. We believe it is possible to reverse the illness with an aggressive targeted diet that address the areas of the brain. This can save you from Dementia and Alzheimer's. What can really reverse dementia?

What can really reverse dementia? This is a question often asked by those seeking ways to stop the spread of the illness. The disease of Alzheimer's is getting worst, more people are becoming affected by this illness. Studies show that we will see a tremendous amount of new cases within the next decade worldwide. This leads us to the question, what can reverse dementia? There are a lot of theories but only one thing seems to be clear. From our research.

Time

Time is a very strong marker of the progression of Alzheimer's disease, over time the brain can lose value areas to the illness, this is due to spreading plaques that affect brain white and gray matter. To keep it simple, the illness progresses in stages. At each stage we can see the illness gets worst. Time is often the greatest enemy to the person seeking to defend against the illness, waiting can be a big mistake. The older a person gets the greater the chances of contracting the illness. Studies are now showing that that there is an increase in early Alzheimer's disease so it is best to protect your brain. Is there a way to reverse dementia? From our research in 5 countries we can say yes you can. Reversal is not simple but it is achievable.

What we have seen is that the illness attacks from many different angles, there is no one drug or nutrient that stops the illness. Alzheimer's is a very difficult disease to treat because it attacks from multiple areas in the brain. This is why it is often said that there is no cure and this is why the drugs fail to stop the illness.

The good news

We have seen in our own research that a combination of nutrients can have a great effect on stopping the illness. The illness can be retarded and is reversible when the right combination of natural ingredients are administered. It is the sole purpose of this site to give you more valuable moments with your loved ones. The brain can heal when in the right environment, do not give up the fight or lose hope. What can reverse dementia? We have seen a reversal of memory loss with a very specialized combination diet.

Is it dementia? or isn't it

It is important to know if your condition is dementia or isn't  the reason for this is because of the way that Alzheimer’s disease effects the brain. This illness is growing very quickly in much of the United States and Europe. Australia is also experiencing rising cases. Is it Dementia is a very important question seeing as waiting may cause the illness to spread to more parts of the brain.

The thief that steals as you wait

Alzheimer’s disease is known to progress in stages, what this means is that the illness changes for the worst as time goes by. This can be a very dangerous thing in that many people wait and this allows more damage to effect the brain. The best course of action with this illness is to response quickly. In fact doctors and researchers are showing that all people should protect themselves from Alzheimer’s disease even before any symptoms are apparent. Is it dementia or not?  It is not always easy to tell because even though there are basic signs to look for the illness also manifest itself with some not so common signs. This can make knowing difficult.

For example, last week we wrote about anger as a not so common sign of Alzheimer’s disease here

Personality changes are one of the most commonly missed signs. Personality changes are more associated with forms of mental illnesses than Alzheimer’s disease and this stereotype can cost a person an early Alzheimer’s diagnosis. The best thing to do if are wondering is it dementia or not is to be very observant. It is best to watch the person over the course of time but not allow too much time to steal the brain. This may seem like a juggling act but it is careful to monitor the person daily and listen to them closely. Watch their actions closely. Knowing someone closely is often the best sign, you will know when something just is not right.

Warning signs of Dementia: What to look for

Personality changes are one of the warning signs of dementia that many people miss. We so often think of memory loss as the only “real”sign of Alzheimer's disease but this can cause us to miss something that has been hinting to us. We are seeing a growth in the numbers of people suffering from this illness and it will be important for us to recognize the effects. The Warning signs of dementia can vary from individual to individual this is why learning about the illness will help you help another.

Personality changes

There are people who are surprise by some of the changes in behavior of a person with the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease. There are some sufferers who experience rage, irritability and aggression. Anger can be a very surprising result of the illness. There are people who have this disease who become extremely angry or exhibit fits of rage. This can be very uncomfortable to a caregiver to handle; unpredictable behavior can also be difficult for a loved one to deal with. It can also lead to very embarrassing situations. If you notice sudden changes in personality it may be one of the signs of dementia

The brain is a very complex creation, it can do an uncountable number of things at the same time but Alzheimer's disease can deeply affect brain's performance. When the illness of Alzheimer's comes in it can do some very bad things to the brain and change personalities.

The plaques that eat away at the brain gray and white matter can change a person's personality.
It is best that everyone start a protection plan to protect their brain. It is crucial not wait until the brain has been heavily affected before doing something. We have seen in our research that a very specialized diet can reverse the early signs of dementia. Never give up, the brain can do some amazing thing when put in the right environment to heal.  Have a great Day

Caregiver burnout from a difficult or mean Alzheimer's patient

“I am burned out from caring for a patient with Alzheimer's disease(dementia)”. This can be a common complaint from a caregiver and it is something that must be addressed. This illness is very labor-some to many and it is because of the very nature of the illness. A patient's symptoms may almost exhibit the behavior of a rude child. Caregivers who are burnt out often state that the patient is not trying to help themselves. Is this so? It may or may not be

The Illness or the Attitude

Jean from England states that her patient and friend can do more but has become depend on her for everything. This is a very tricky situation and it really depends on the patient. Some may become “lazy” or dependent on the caregiver to the point where they stop trying to help themselves. I am speaking very broad here as all situations are different. This type of patient in many ways has given up to the illness and that is the wrong approach. A caregiver can experience burnout from caring for an Alzheimer's patient. Dementia is a serious illness and often the person suffering is actual physically weak or mentally confused so you must really know the patient.

What helps in Jean's situation is that she really knows the patient who is also a friend, this can be an incredible help. Is the patient really rude, cranky, or just having a bad day? Is it the illness causing the attitude? The answers to these questions lie in knowing your patient. The patient may be your grandmother or mother, this is good because you usually know them best. Always exercise compassion and long-suffering with difficult people, take a walk outside, go shopping and give yourself a long break. Care giver burnout is common, please know that this illness can make you sick (stressed out) if you do not find a balance. A break from the patient and Caregiver may help both parties. The bottom line is to know the patient well enough to determine if it is illness or attitude.

Dementia...Lonely...Sick

A recent study in Europe has shown that 3 words... dementia, sick and lonely all go together. As a researcher. I can see that this all connects. The issue of loneliness is an interesting one in that  isolation can effect the health of humans from birth. Alzheimer disease is an illness linked to emotional health. Dementia is linked to feeling lonely. A person with this illness may feel themselves a burden on others and this can cause guilt.

The Europe study highlights some facts

Study of the Elderly (AMSTEL), which is looking at risk factors for dementia and higher than expected death rates among the elderly.

Living alone does increase dementia but “feeling lonely caused dementia to triple”

This is a very important finding in that feeling lonely can cause other mental problems including depression. The results show us once again a clear link between dementia and loneliness.

Putting the elderly out to pasture

Sadly in much (not all) of the West old age is a disgrace, to make matters worst many refuse to take care of their parents or grandparents. This is not the case in much of Brazil, Caribbean,India,African and Asian countries. Sadly in the United States and some parts of Europe the elderly are put out to pasture. We have no time and are too busy to look after those who looked after us. Dementia, feeling sick and lonely is all to American. You can reverse this illness, stay with this site and spread the message.

DEMENTIA HELP: What role does the diet play?

Dementia help starts with the diet, this is something that we can conclusively say due to our research. The greatest setback to a cure has been the misinformation that is given to the majority of people. Alzheimer's disease is a horrible illness that waste the brain. The number of people suffering from the illness is increasing. Dementia help is available but sadly most people are not receiving this information.

A recent interview on a major television network in England had an “expert” telling people that there was no way to reverse the illness. This is the misinformation that does more harm than good. The reason being that we have seen much of the illness reversed. The “ no cure” information that is given to the general public is based on very loose generalizations. Dementia help is available and it starts in the diet. Now, it must be clearly stated that a simple “good diet” will not have much of an affect on Alzheimer's disease but a specific diet for the brain will have an enormous effect.

Stopping the plaques

The brain plaques that form and contribute to Alzheimer's disease can be reversed. What this means is much of the brain function can be restored. We have shown people that something can be done about the illness. This is something that the big organizations rarely speak about. What we can say is that there is a way to get much of the memory back! There is a way to see the brain plaques fought. The “There is no reversing the illness” mentality was based on old information. Science has shown dementia help is available and we have seen it as well. A specialized diet for the brain can reverse much of the memory loss.
